Remixing the City: A Panel with LA leaders

On Saturday, October 25, Festival Trail hosted a lively panel discussion under our shade structure prototype at Jerry Moss Plaza. The conversation brought together four Los Angeles leaders — Councilmember Nithya Raman, Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, Prophet Walker, and Festival Trail co-founder Chris Torres — for an inspiring exchange on the city’s future.

Moderated by Frances Anderton, the discussion explored the opportunities presented by the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games for Los Angeles. Panelists reflected on the importance of sites of community ownership, transformative projects like the LA River Bike Path, and what it takes to make things happen in Los Angeles.

Event presented as part of Grand Ave: Arts All Access, in partnership with The Music Center.
