There is no time to wait. 2028 is around the corner and we are expecting 15 million visitors arriving to LA for the Games. We must work together NOW to redefine Los Angeles as a transit-first city with a vibrant and safe public realm.

Festival Trail is an initiative based on authentic collaboration of community partners, city and county leaders and the private and philanthropic sectors with a focus on demystifying the processes and silos that prevent positive investments in our communities from taking place.

We are a grassroots movement defined by Angelenos and creating for Angelenos. Infrastructure is as good as how it is used, operated and maintained. We are focused on the creation of sustainable and livable models of city building that puts community ownership first.

Los Angeles experienced the worse climate disaster in its history with the Palisades and Eaton Fires. These are precursors to even more severe climatic events. Festival Trail embraces that all city planning is climate planning with resilience as the primary lens of our work in design and coalition building.

Los Angeles is a vast city of multiplicities, with as many opportunities as there are hardships. Though we are known for our sprawl we have immense power in our diverse communities to come together in times of need. Festival Trail highlights and celebrates the best parts of LA.
