Linking together projects already started.

There are already many infrastructure and mobility projects built or underway across Los Angeles. Festival Trail connects them amplifying their impact.

The Festival Trail follows current public and active transportation routes. We bridge the gaps to create a continuous, car-free network linking the region.

If we change our streets, we change our city.

We design community hubs that respond to local needs.

The Trail to the Future LA.

RAIL TO RAIL CONNECTOR

The Rail to Rail Connector envisions an enriched bikeway and streetscape linking the LAX People Mover, the K-Line and the Vermont BRT. Along the route, it connects key cultural destinations—from the Inglewood Transit Corridor, SoFi Stadium, and Destination Crenshaw to USC’s Galen Center and the Coliseum—creating a continuous corridor of mobility, culture, and community.

RESILIENCY HUBS

Festival Trail hubs provide essential social infrastructure — hydration stations, shade, rest areas, and seating — while doubling as gathering spaces. Designed to serve residents and visitors alike, they become fan zones and sites for arts & culture programming — that fostering comfort, connection, and community pride along the route.

ORIGIN OF LOS ANGELES ACTIVATION

We are reactivating the historic heart of Los Angeles through public space, mobility, and cultural connections—from El Pueblo to the region’s expanding multimodal transit systems. The effort celebrates the neighborhood’s heritage while fostering new opportunities for movement, gathering, and economic vitality in the heart and birthplace of the city.

GRAND AVENUE CULTURAL DISTRICT

The activation of the new LA County designated Cultural District along Grand Avenue connects Angelenos to the city’s premier arts and culture institutions—Disney Concert Hall, The Broad, MOCA, and the Music Center. Through streetscape design, programming, and public space activation, the corridor becomes a vibrant cultural spine that celebrates creativity and civic life in the heart of Los Angeles.

PARKLETS & REST STOPS

A series of parklets and shared rest stops punctuate the protected bikeways, creating moments to pause, gather, and connect. These spaces support informal economies and local businesses—transforming mobility corridors into vibrant community networks of exchange and everyday life.

LA RIVER BIKE PATH

Festival Trail advocates for the swift delivery of the in-channel LA River Bike Path — a keystone project that would transform underused infrastructure into a continuous, safe, and active mobility corridor. The project envisions the river as both a connector and a catalyst, linking the LA region through recreation, ecology, and everyday movement.

Public streets are for public joy.

We transform public spaces with targeted activations.
