Short-Form Video Contest:

Celebrate the LA River Path this summer and help us #finishthepath with a social media video!‍ ‍

The LA River Path could be the spine of a countywide safe mobility network from the Valley to Long Beach. When complete, it will provide residents and visitors with 51 miles of car-free access to thousands of destinations, linking the region through recreation, ecology, and everyday movement.

LA Metro has plenty of money to build this section in the channel. But the City of Los Angeles is dragging its feet.

You can help our efforts to get the city to approve our plan to finish the 8-mile gap through Downtown Los Angeles by highlighting the issue with a short-form social media video.

We are seeking video shorts of up to 90 seconds in length in the following three categories:

  • Best Advocacy to Finish the Path. Convey the urgency and importance of finishing this 8.5-mile section of the path.

  • Best Imagination. Engage creativity or fantasy. AI content must be labeled.
